To scan for malware nimbusec uses uploaded files and URLs extensively, including storage, processing and analysing of uploaded data.

Analysts or automatic analyse programs scan the uploaded files for malware and use them to modify and improve the antivirus engine. nimbusec is free to store, use and edit provided files with all included data as well as to share it with the anti-malware and security industry.
