Collection and Usage of Uploaded Data, URLs and Usage Information To scan for malware nimbusec uses uploaded files and URLs extensively, including storage, processing and analysing of uploaded data.
When using shellray no personal data is collected, sole exception:

• information needed for scanning the uploaded data or URLs and
• data of registration, eg called up content of provided pages, usage behaviour, internet protocol adresses, hardware settings, system activity, browsertype, referring URL, language selection, date and time.

Cookies and User Behaviour nimbusec uses Cookies, small text files sent by a website to your browser software but do not contain personal data. nimbusec uses cookies solely to provide a safer, more effective and user optimised service. Cookies enable nimbusec to identify the used browser and to creat offers conform to users' needs.

To analyse the use of the website nimbusec avails itself of PIWIK. nimbusec respects the "do not track" (DNT) function of the browser if you favour not to be tracked. Anyhow data collected by PIWIK is not passed on to any third party.

Analysts or automatic analyse programs scan the uploaded files for malware and use them to modify and improve the antivirus engine. nimbusec is free to store, use and edit provided files with all included data as well as to share it with the anti-malware and security industry.
